Reception Fitout - Nottingham

Concepts Group was appointed by a long standing client, in collaboration with their Italian Head Office, to transform the existing reception area within their new distribution centre. The objective was to create a modern, welcoming, and brand-consistent environment that aligned with the design standards seen across their European distribution centres. Working closely with the client's design team, all finishes, colours, and specifications were carefully selected to ensure complete continuity with their wider European portfolio.

The Challenge

The primary challenge of the project was that the reception area served as the main access point to the operational distribution centre. To maintain a safe working environment and comply with the client's strict health and safety requirements, the reception and entrance area had to be closed for several weeks during the refurbishment works. Careful planning and coordination were therefore essential to minimise disruption to daily operations while ensuring the project could be delivered safely and efficiently.

The Solution

To achieve the client's vision, Concepts Group worked from a detailed design brief and set of approved renders that outlined the required aesthetic and functionality of the space. Particular attention was given to the bespoke joinery elements, with all sizes, finishes, colours, and specifications subject to a rigorous approval process before manufacture. Through close collaboration with the client and their European design team, the project was delivered in line with the approved designs, creating a high-quality reception area that reflects the company's brand identity and provides consistency across its European facilities.
