A long-standing client engaged Concepts Group at an early stage in the acquisition of additional premises to support continued business growth. Working collaboratively with the client and their appointed professional team, we provided early input to help shape the fit-out strategy and ensure a practical, efficient delivery. The unit was stripped back to its core, allowing the client’s requirements to be clearly defined and the project scope divided into two distinct areas.

The Challenge

The project was split into Area A, comprising a staff canteen and the building’s main toilet facilities, and Area B, which included the main reception, open-plan office, meeting room, tea preparation area, and associated toilet facilities. Both areas presented similar technical challenges, particularly around existing site constraints. Key considerations included avoiding the need to break out the concrete slab or reroute incoming services, while still accommodating the client’s operational requirements.

The Solution

Through detailed site surveys and careful planning, the team maximised the available space and successfully worked around the incoming mains water supply and existing soil vent pipes. Our site team worked closely with contractors across multiple disciplines, maintaining a coordinated and collaborative approach throughout. This ensured a seamless delivery and resulted in a successful fit-out that met the client’s objectives without compromise.
